PM Modi’s Address to Nation on Covid-19
PM Narendra Modi’s address to the nation on Covid-19 (Corona Virus Crisis Situation) and his appeal from the Public to Cooperate, Maintain Social Distancing, Avoid unnecessary Travels. Also the interest and care of Senior Citizens must be taken as priority and ensure that they keep safe at homes and avoid unnecessary travel in this Corona emergency Situation.
- Call for Janta Curfew on 22nd March 2020, wherein people must stay at their homes from 7:00 AM to 9:00 Pm on March 22nd, 2020
- Pledge to maintain Social Distancing
- Prime Minister said that there are many brave people who are in the forefront of fighting the Covid-19 pandemic such as medical staff, police, government servants, airline staff, media persons, bus/train/auto operators and those involved in providing home delivery. To pay respects to their huge service to the nation during such trying times, he suggested that on March 22 at 5 PM, all citizens should acknowledge and salute their efforts by standing in the balconies and at the doors of their houses and clap or ring bells for five minutes as a show of appreciation.
- Avoid Routine Checkups / Unnecessary Hospital Visits
- Except Necessary Unavoidable Surgeries, Postpone all your Appointment Schedules at Hospitals, appeal from public to deburden the hospitals and hospital staff so that they can focus on CoronaVirus patients, arrangements and are not worknig in too much of stressed conditions.
- COVID-19 Economic Response Task Force Constituted under finance ministry, to check financial and economic aspects of pandemic/epidemic due to Corona Virus
- Businessman’s and Employers must focus and on humanitarian grounds take the descision and cooperate/support their employees on financial and work fronts. avoid cutting the salaries or pays.
- Avoid Panic Buying or tendency to stock/accumulate necessary household or things you buy in panic
