67th National Film Awards Announced

Asuran, directed by Vetri Maaran and produced by Kalaipuli S Thanu bagged the Best Tamil Film Awards for 2021, with Main Lead and Superstar Dhanush selected as and for the Best Actor award

Its second National Award to Dhanush, first one for Aadukalam (2011). Asuran also features Manju Warrier, Ken Karunas, Prakash Raj, and Pasupathi. The film has music by GV Prakash. Asuran is based on the Tamil Novel Vekkai by Poomani

67th National Film Awards announced today by the Directorate of Films Festivals (Under the Ministry of Information And Broadcasting)

Kangana Ranaut won the National Award in the Best Actress category for her films Panga and Manikarnika. Manoj Bajpayee and Dhanush won the Best Actor Award for their films Bhonsle and Asuran, respectively.
