Kedarnath Dham Pilgrimage Opening Dates, Helicopter Booking Process and Best Time to Visit (Kedarnath Yatra 2022)

On the Occasion of Maha Shivratri, 6th May 2022 decided as the opening date for Kedarnath Dham for the Pilgrimage. The best months to visit Kedarnath are May and June, and the Pilgrimage Yatra starts from Rishikesh or Haridwar.

In case you want to take the helicopter service from Dehradun then you have to travel till Shastradhara Helipad in Dehradun and then the helicopter will drop you at your destination in simply 40 minutes. To take the helicopter service from Haridwar/Rishikesh you need to travel till Phata via taxi and then you can board the helicopter till Kedarnath.

Apart from Religious Char Dham Yatra Significance, Kedarnath Trek is quite famous amongst Adventure Travelers. Kedarnath is well connected to New Delhi, Rishikesh, Haridwar and Dehradun by Bus network or one can hire a Cab to the destination from these locations.

वृश्चिक लग्न में खुलेंगे केदारनाथ मंदिर के कपाट

केदारनाथ धाम के कपाट छह मई को वृश्चिक लग्न में सुबह 6.25 बजे श्रद्धालुओं के लिए खोल दिए जाएंगे। मंगलवार को पंचगद्दी स्थल ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर ऊखीमठ में कपाट खोलने की तिथि एवं मुहूर्त निकाले गए। इसी के साथ चारों धाम के कपाट खुलने की तिथि तय हो गई है।

यमुनोत्री व गंगोत्री धाम के कपाट अक्षय तृतीया पर तीन मई को, जबकि बदरीनाथ धाम के कपाट आठ मई को खोले जाएंगे। इस प्रकार अक्षय तृतीया यानी की आगामी तीन मई से चारधाम यात्रा का शुभारंभ हो जाएगा।मंगलवार को शिवरात्रि पर्व पर ओंकारेश्वर मंदिर ऊखीमठ में पंचगाई के ग्रामीण, हक-हकूकधारी, वेदपाठी, तीर्थपुरोहित, मंदिर समिति व प्रशासन की मौजूदगी में केदारनाथ धाम के रावल भीमाशंकर लिंग ने कपाट खोलने की तिथि एवं मुहूर्त घोषित किए।

अकाल मृत्यु वो मरे जो काम करे चांडाल का, काल भी उसका क्या करे जो भक्त हो महाकाल का।
