Signature Campaign for Suicide Prevention by Zindagi Ek Prathmikta

Zindagi Ek Prathmikta Foundation, a NGO working aggressively on Suicide Prevention launched a Suicide Prevention and Awareness Campaign on 01st September 2019, where it aims to reach 1 Lac People who are interested to join the cause of prevention of Suicide in India, as the Supporter, Volunteer, Member or Mentors. It’s the first of its kind initiative taken for mentoring people and aims to create an ecosystem where we give helping hands to someone in grief or misery so that his stress could be shared.
On International Suicide Prevention Day (10th September 2019), Members and Volunteers of Zindagi Ek Prathmikta Foundation took a pledge of “Each One Save One” where they took a vow to help the person in Stress or Depression and this will eventually bring down the Suicide Rates Down in the Country.

Zindagi Ek Prathmikta Foundation and its Team headed by Ms. Isha Yadav (President), Mr. ashu Gaur (Secretary) and Ms. Komal Chauhan (National Program and Media Coordinator) conducted Stress Management and Counseling Workshops in July-September for Police/PAC/RTC at Various Districts / Zones of Uttar Pradesh including Mirzapur, Sonbhadra, Meerut, Muzaffarnagar and Rae Bareli. Recently in September the Initiative of Counseling Jail Inmates at Lucknow District Jail was much appreciated and praised. Till now the NGO has provided Counseling to over 20,000 Students at Kota and Over 6000 Police / PAC Personnel in Uttar Pradesh.
