Nude Woman Photographs Shared by Loan Recovery Agent in Ahmedabad

A Garment Businessman from Behrampura, Ahmedabad filed a complaint with Cyber Crime Police, declaring that cyber crooks have been threatening and blackmailing him over Loan Repayments and Recovery and also shared morphed obscene photographs of his wife due to failures in timely repayment of the loan.
The businessman took loans from 14 Instant Loan Apps amounting approximately 1.20 Lacs, for which he paid back 2.36 Lacs by January. However, even after repayments he continued to receive the loan recovery threats from recovery agents demanding more money. Even people on his contact list on his phone also were receiving such threat calls.

Due to the continued harassments, the complainant approached police and registered a case case of sending obscene pictures, cheating and criminal intimidation along with charges under the Information Technology Act.

Although Cyber Crime and Police is trying to do their best for tracking these Cyber Criminals, the Loan Recovery Process and Business is going dirtier day by day and the Instant Loan Apps are misusing the Data of the Customers to Threaten and Extort the Money. The case no longer falls into Loan Recovery Procedures and Protocols, its grown as a Dark Business of Fake Instant Loan Apps to lure customers compromise their KYC Information and Data (Personal Identity Theft) and Blackmail/Extort the money and stringent laws as well as active Cyber Police action is required to control such cyber crimes. In case of being scammed, there is no escape from responsibility quoting why people take loans form these apps, Instant Loan Apps are promoting the business on Facebook, Whatsapp and Google with a fancy advertisement and marketing techniques so its too hard for a normal customer to understand the difference before being trapped by a scammer, as the standard operating procedure of any Instant Loan App is same, even if its Genuine or a Scammer. The case of blackmailing and threatening becomes more intense and worrying if the loan seeker is a female (women)
