Founded back in the year 1835, Madame Tussauds is one of the oldest and most popular attractions in the world today. The attraction has 22 flagship sites across the globe including Shanghai, London, Berlin, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Singapore among others. Through the years, the attraction has been offering an amalgam of local and international experience to all its visitors. The attraction, for one and all, gives each visitor a chance to have a closer look of their favorite stars and pose with them for tons of pictures!

Madame Tussauds at the capital Delhi has been immensely successful ever since its grand launch in December 2017. From Superstar Shahrukh Khan to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the attraction has a couple of stars and legends of the nation at present. Joining the other legends today, Indian cricketer Virat Kohli made debut at the Madame Tussauds. It was the unveiling of Virat Kohli’s figure at Madame Tussauds today and one really can’t imagine the kind of excitement each one of us had. After all, its been long since all Virat Kohli fans have been waiting for this moment.

Crafted in a period of 6 long months, Virat Kohli’s figure is a result of around 200 measurements and pictures which were taken during an interaction session with him. A team of 20 artists including wax artists, painters, and hairstylists came together and brought the figure to life.

“Virat has his own batting style. We wanted a picture of him while batting for Madame Tussauds. We requested him to pose for us. The pose that is present at Madame Tussauds today was suggested by Virat himself,” shared Mr. Anshul Jain, General Manager, and Director Merlin Entertainments India Pvt Ltd.

“Virat Kohli has a huge fan following across the world. In a nation like India, where people are crazy for cricket and cricketers, there wouldn’t have been a better choice than Indian captain Virat Kohli. Virat’s figure will add an all-new charm to the sports zone of the attraction,” he added.

Captain Virat Kohli is super excited to see the reactions from all his fans. He said, “I sincerely appreciate the efforts that have been put in to create my figure for the attraction.” He thanked Madame Tussauds for choosing him for this lifetime experience

So, Indian Cricket Team’s captain Virat Kohli’s figure has finally made its way to Madame Tussauds Delhi and is now on display for the public. All his fans can now rush to the attraction for a special session of pictures with the batting hero!
